AREA COORDINATORS

 

The AREA COORDINATORS are in charge of all activities for the Marriage Encounter movement in N/C Alabama. They are responsible for setting up the weekends, weekend renewals, area board meetings, team meetings, kickoffs, and other Marriage Encounter activities.  In general, the Area Coordinators are responsible for leading and coordinating all activities for Marriage Encounter in N/C Alabama.

 Specific responsibilities of the Area Coordinators are:

    Establish M.E. weekend dates

    Make final decision on whether weekend is “GO” or “NO GO”

    Make budget decisions

    Receive project proposals; make final decision for or against implementation

    Chair Area Board meetings

    Provide quality control of all Marriage Encounter operations

    Recruit for positions on the Area Board

    Attend section meetings and leadership conference

    Schedule, coordinate and attend Area Board meetings

    Provide for Team:

  • Training

  • Weekend Assignments

  • Enrichment

  • Monthly meetings

  • Workshop Assignments

    Interface with neighboring M.E. Catholic communities and other faith expressions
