DATABASE COUPLE

The Database Couple is responsible for maintaining a database of information relating to Marriage Encounter in N/C Alabama.  An example of the data to be maintained would be complete information on encountered couples and priests, circle contacts and membership, parish contacts, area board membership and other volunteer information.

NOTE:  This position requires a computer, printer and appropriate database software.

Specific responsibilities of the Database Couple are:

    Develop and maintain a database containing:

• Encountered Couples

                             Names, address, phone number, e-mail

                             Parish membership

                             Marriage date

                             Weekend date

                             Area Board or Pillar participation

• Circles

                             Circle Contacts

                             Circle members

• Parishes

                             Points of contact

                             Encountered couples

                             Dates of activity and past blitzes

• Encounter movement

                             Position volunteer data

                             Weekend information (help sheets)

                             Position responsibilities

    Respond to inquiries from M.E. couples seeking circles

    Respond to inquiries from authorized Area Board members

    Produce reports for authorized Area Board members

    Attend Community Pillar meetings 2-3 times per year, or as scheduled by the Community Pillar Coordinator
