FINANCE COUPLE

 

The Finance Couple, in accordance with standard accounting and bookkeeping practices, is responsible for handling all the finances for Marriage Encounter in N/C Alabama.  Specific responsibilities include receiving income from various sources, maintaining accounts payable and paying bills. maintaining proper financial records, and preparing appropriate financial statements.  They are also responsible for the timely and accurate income tax preparation for the government.

 

 

Specific responsibilities of the Finance Couple are:

 

    Maintain all financial records and receipts

    Prepare proper financial statements

    Process accounts payable

  • File all receipts

  • Pay bills from established account

    Process accounts receivable and cash receipts

  • Deposit income from various sources

  • Maintain and deposit postdated checks

    Prepare accounting books for tax preparation

    Ensure that taxes are filed in a timely and accurate manner

    Attend Area Board meetings 3 times per year, or as scheduled by the Area Coordinators
