INVITING COORDINATORS

 

The Inviting Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the inviting effort throughout N/C Alabama.  Their primary responsibility is to coordinate the inviting effort in N/C Alabama with the goal of filling the scheduled weekends.  In addition, the Inviting Coordinators will maintain contact with other area Inviting couples to share ideas, and represent N/C Alabama at recruiting meetings and events.

 

 

Specific responsibilities of the Inviting Coordinators are:

 

    Coordinate and assist in Inviting to fill the scheduled weekends

    Assist in inviting for positions on the Area Board

    Maintain data on:

  • Dates of parish pulpit talks, dinners, information nights, etc.

  • Parish points of contact

  • All parish activity relating to inviting and promotion

    Report data updates to Database Couple

    Develop and maintain master schedule for inviting events

    Work closely with the Circle Inviting Couples to coordinate and assist in implementing inviting events

    Assist in arranging for speakers for pulpit talks, dinners, info nights

    Arrange for delivery of inviting supplies to inviting events

    Oversee general public relations effort

    Maintain outline for pulpit talks

    Develop new inviting ideas

    Attend Area Board meetings 3 times per year, or as scheduled by the Area Coordinators

    Attend Weekend Pillar meetings 2-3 times per year, or as scheduled by the Weekend Pillar Coordinators

    Coordinate, schedule and chair Inviting Committee meetings 3 times per year
