MEDIA COORDINATOR

 

The Media Coordinators are responsible for promoting Marriage Encounter through various media in N/C Alabama.  They will arrange for advertisements/announcements with local media, such as radio stations, magazines, newspapers, public access cable television and other media as deemed appropriate.  They will also provide information on upcoming local events to the Recruiting Coordinators, Area Coordinators/Ecclesial Team, and others as needed.

 

Specific responsibilities of the Media Coordinators are:

 

    Maintain list of media points of contact for:

  • Local private media

  • Marriage Encounter media  

    Maintain knowledge of local Marriage Encounter events

    Subscribe to and read local media publications, as appropriate

    Receive budget guidance from the Area Coordinators/Ecclesial Team

    Develop action plan for media advertising

    Arrange for advertisements/announcements with local media

    Respond to media comments re: marriage and Marriage Encounter

    Provide information on upcoming events to the Area Coordinators/Ecclesial Team, Recruiting Coordinators, and others as necessary

    Attend Recruiting meetings 3-4 times per year, or as scheduled by the Recruiting Coordinators
