PRAYER COUPLE

The Prayer Couple will pray for their weekend couple throughout the weekend, attend the Sunday night sing-out to meet their couple, and go with their couple on the weekend renewal.  In addition they will provide their couple with information about the community and love circles, and encourage them to get involved in the Marriage Encounter community, if at all possible.

Specific responsibilities of the Prayer Couple are:

    Receive request to pray and sponsor a couple from the Prayer Couple Coordinators

    Write a prayer/love letter to your couple; send or deliver the letter to the Prayer Couple Coordinators

    If possible, attend the Friday night kickoff to help carry bags

    Pray and remember your couple throughout the weekend

    Attend the Sunday night sing-out to meet your couple and bring their prayer candle to them

    Take your couple to the Weekend Reunion

    Suggest that your couple pass the gift they just received along to someone else

    Be available to your couple for questions and encouragement
