WEEKEND PILLAR COORDINATOR

The Weekend Pillar Coordinator is responsible for the overall preparation, support and operation of our WWME weekends. They are appointed by the Area Coordinators and their primary task is to ensure the smooth operation & support of weekends for the sake of our Friday Night Couples.  They should have a broad understanding of the operation of the weekend and believe strongly in its power to change the world.

Specific responsibilities of the Weekend Pillar Coordinators include:

    Attend and represent the Weekend Pillar at Area Board Meetings.

    Schedule and chair Weekend Pillar Meetings (2 or 3 per year).

    Work with other Pillar Leaders to identify couples who may be called to serve the weekend pillar

    Empower, affirm & delegate to ensure that the following positions are filled and tasks are handled for each weekend. Work with couples to iron out difficulties or problems as they occur.

•           Weekend Supply

•           Weekend Hosting

•           Facility Contacts

•           Recruiting Coordinator & Committee

    Keep Area Coordinators informed about the progress on getting tasks handled for each Weekend.

    Encourage all of the above couples to develop & update written job descriptions and to be looking for & training their own replacements.
